First Watch
If you haven’t heard of First Watch yet, we don’t know what to tell you. Everything is fresh and locally sourced. This is one of the best restaurants in Lake Nona to have your breakfast, brunch or lunch. This is a popular breakfast and brunch spot in Lake Nona, so it will be busy. We recommend any of the omelets!
Island Fin Poké
Hawaiian style poké bowls, a classic fisherman’s dish with fresh raw fish (like tuna) with many vegetables and fruits. Think seaweed, pickled veggies, mango and pineapple, crunchy onions and so much more. The menu changes with the seasons, because oh my, do we love fresh food! Have a taste for yourself at one of the best restaurants for a fish-dish in Lake Nona!
Chroma Modern Bar & Kitchen
Chroma is different and delicious, they serve small plate options (tapas anyone?) that are meant to be shared. The food and drinks are delicious and well made, but we LOVE the atmosphere in the Lake Nona town center where Chroma is located.
We enjoy drinking the beer flight or black cherry soda on the outdoor portion of the restaurant. Lake Nona is just like the rest of Florida- beautiful weather all year around. You might as well enjoy it.
If you enjoy good beer, opt to get the beer flight and choose 4 beers from the menu. We recommend the Chroma Burgers and the blue crab dip.
Piazza Italia
Piazza Italia will give you the italian experience you’re craving. Most of the cooks and waiters are from Italy and will help you navigate the Italian menu and wines. This is a great date night spot and we recommend you reserve a booth inside the restaurant where you can watch them make your pizza in the wood fired pizza oven.
We recommend any of the pizzas as they are delicious (and we can’t choose)! Ask the waiter about their wines from the different Italian regions. Piazza Italia is one of the best Italian restaurants in Lake Nona!
Nona Blue
Nona Blue is a pub that can work in many situations. Are you looking for a night out with friends? A date with your significant other? Or are you trying to watch the big game?
We see Nona Blue as an upscale sports bar. The drinks are pricey, but the crowd and vibe is relaxing and professional. You will spend about $30 per person.
We recommend searching out the cocktail menu for a few more dollars, the happy hour drinks are very simple and common. We like the Moscow Mule for the Florida heat.
Park Pizza & Brewing Company
The best pizza in Lake Nona is coming from Park Pizza & Brewing Company in the Lake Nona town center. They never disappoint when it comes to their pizzas, also made in their wood fired pizza ovens (did we mention we love pizzas?). Top a pizza order off with their different beers that are brewed in the restaurant.
It’s common to see bikers ending their daily rides at Park Pizza with a beer flight and large pizza. Eat inside for more excitement and outside for a relaxing vibe.
Pig Floyd’s urban barbakoa
Any day is a good day to stop by Pig Floyd’s Urban Barbakoa. The sandwiches at this restaurant are soul filling. It’s Denny’s go-to spot to feel satiated and alive! Try out the Big Floyd sandwich if you are hungry enough.
