what we always travel with

We travel with this amazing backpack, which fits all of our stuff when we travel (yay minimalist traveling!). It is affordable, well made and has amazing reviews. We definitely recommend this bag for all your travels. From  city trips to traveling for months at a time.

A kindle is the perfect item for minimalist travel. Because books are essential right? We love to read while traveling and the Kindle is so small, it will fit in any bag.

We love wearing minimalist shoes, which are shoes with very minimal protection, padding and other gimmicks. Your feet have a full range of movement in minimalist shoes. We like to wear Xero sandals and Earth runners!

Do not underestimate the powers of the powerstrip! It will come in handy to charge all your electronics, because you always have more electronics than you think. Don't let yourself get in that situation with only one or two outlets!

A must-have when traveling. Do we need to say more?

These towels are easy to travel with, because they are very compact. There might be times where you might not have (enough) towels at your accommodation. How about a quick dry off after swimming in a lake? We even take these microfiber towels to the beach. Bye bye bulky towels!

Reusable utensils

We use reusable utensils for zero-waste reasons, and sometimes, hygiene reasons! We like the stainless steel utensils and reusable chopsticks. Sustainable travel is important to us as that minimizes the impact on nature and people.

We always pack a dry bag as this comes in handy on waterfall hikes, watersports and really rainy days! We usually put our electronics such as our camera's and phones in the dry bag.

A VPN has come in handy too many times on our travels. Sometimes you can't access U.S. or European websites when you're in a different country. It also helps to buy cheaper flight tickets, by selecting the I.P. address of the country you are in!
