We are about making moments, and moments are made in travel
Hi! We're Denny and Nikki, a Dutch and American couple. We absolutely love to travel and have made choices in our life that revolved around exploration.
We aspire to live an authentic life, that is slow, meaningful and with intention. Our goal is to share our moments through videos and articles, and bring a piece of a different world into yours.
Hopefully that will inspire you to follow and live your dream, whatever that may be, but probably with lots of travel in it 😉
How it all started!
We took a trip to Costa Rica in 2019, which made us feel extremely alive and full of energy and curiosity.
But we were also just starting to build our careers. We made promotions at work, started to decorate our apartment and bought a lot of stuff (cars are so expensive!).
We were living the life that many live. Work a good job, settling down and building towards something better.
Our dream
We were heavily into financial planning, but one afternoon, we talked about why we were exactly planning out our finances. We didn't want to buy a house yet, and were not ready to start a family.
We felt that we could always return to the lives we were already living, even after one year of full-time travel.
We saved up for a full year of travel, sold our cars and gave notice to our jobs. And then... covid hit.
Our dream? To see the freaking world
So, we decided to use the opportunity (no jobs, no house, no cars) to do something wild. In hindsight, the absolute best thing that we could have ever done.
We moved to Hawaii!! We've never been to the islands, but accepted the adventure with both hands. We settled in on Oahu and did everything we could possible do and explore in that year we lived in paradise.
The urge to see more of the world never left us, and so once again, we quit everything to finally do our world travels.
